Following the runaway success of their debut album, Echoes From Deep November, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE have today released a live performance of The Climb. Ushering in a line-up change with their new drummer, Jordan Rippe, the band got together in early November at Telefunken Studio, CT to film a live performance of the album in its entirety at the studio’s Soundstage. Filmed by Patrick Fallon and produced by Dave Kaminsky, the set itself perfectly captures FIRES IN THE DISTANCE’s blend of melodic death metal and doom atmospherics. The Climb is the first song from the session to be released, with the rest of the performance to be released at a later date.

WOLF KING are back with a new album, titled The Path of Wrath. The follow up to their blistering 2018 release, Loyal To The Soil, confirms the Bay Area blackened heavy metal band have lost none of their bite. The Path of Wrath is a well crafted twelve track opus, set for release via Prosthetic Records on March 5, 2021. The band have today released the album’s lead single, Sanctuary, on streaming services as well as premiering an accompanying music video via Decibel Magazine. Filmed by Vance Valenzuela during their March, 2020 tour with Vale of Pnath.

Irish thrashers, GAMA BOMB, have today released Miami Supercops – the third single to be taken from their upcoming studio album, Sea Savage. Miami Supercops is streaming everywhere now, and has an accompanying video premiering at New Noise Magazine. Sea Savage will set off on it’s maiden voyage and be released via Prosthetic Records on December 4; pre-orders are available now.

Australian tech-death force PSYCROPTIC return with a brand new EP, The Watcher Of All, out on November 27 via Prosthetic Records (digital) and Agonia Records (12″ vinyl). Continually evolving and with a thirst for musical progression, the band have unveiled a bold new track titled A Fragile Existence, which is available now via Bandcamp and will be on all digital streaming services from tomorrow. Untamed and unique riffing, surgical drumming and a looming melody weave together a technically elaborate song structure. To match the dark epic nature of the track, it is accompanied by a music video crafted by long time collaborator Wilson Bambrick.
