Following the runaway success of their debut album, Echoes From Deep November, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE have today released a live performance of The Climb. Ushering in a line-up change with their new drummer, Jordan Rippe, the band got together in early November at Telefunken Studio, CT to film a live performance of the album in its entirety at the studio’s Soundstage. Filmed by Patrick Fallon and produced by Dave Kaminsky, the set itself perfectly captures FIRES IN THE DISTANCE’s blend of melodic death metal and doom atmospherics. The Climb is the first song from the session to be released, with the rest of the performance to be released at a later date.

The follow up to their blistering 2018 release, Loyal To The Soil, confirms the Bay Area blackened heavy metal band have lost none of their bite. The Path of Wrath is a well crafted twelve track opus, set for release via Prosthetic Records on March 5, 2021.
