Prosthetic Records is proud to announce the signing of THE EMBER, THE ASH, who will release their sophomore album via the label this Spring. Fixation is a seven track album due for release on May 14. The solo endeavor of a musical polymath who goes only by the name 鬼, THE EMBER, THE ASH is a project shrouded in mystery – yet also offers recognizable glimpses into emotional turmoil. Less than a month since the release of their sophomore album, What A Time To Be Alive, WEREWOLVES have today released a new music video for Mission Statement. Produced by Rage Cr:eative, the visual darts back and forth with lycanthrope imagery that is equal parts B-movie horror homage and apt video conceptualisation of WEREWOLVES‘ uniquely savage approach to death metal.

WOLF KING have today released the third single, Holy Serpent, taken from their upcoming album, The Path of Wrath. Marking their return late last year, the Bay Area four-piece’s blend of blackened metal and punk attitude is as potent as ever on their latest single. Accompanying the single is a live in-studio performance video, shot at Rapture Studio in Hayward, CA, where the band spent time recording The Path of Wrath with Cody Fuentes.

Sweden’s HORNDAL have today announced their sophomore album, due for release via Prosthetic Records on April 9. Titled Lake Drinker, the album tells the tale of the eponymous town of Horndal – and how it is on a cursed path to destruction for the second time in forty years. Alongside the album announcement the four-piece have released the single, Rossen, named after the lake in Horndal. The accompanying video features a five star tour of Horndal and its many and varied amenities.

DEPTHS OF HATRED have today released Illusive Obsession, the third single from their upcoming new album, Inheritance, due out on March 19, 2021. Illusive Obsession, is packed full of razor sharp technicality and premier death metal musicianship, whilst simultaneously continuing to showcase the dynamic melodicism found on the previously released singles, Fastidious Imitation and Sadistic Trials. SUMMONING THE LICH have today released the new single, Cult of the Ophidian, taken from their recently announced debut album, United In Chaos. Accompanying the single, SUMMONING THE LICH have also shared a suitably macabre music video for the track. Directed by Danny Tilson, the clip alternates between the band adorned in occult robed attire and performing together.

Recorded at The Sugar Shack in London, Ontario by Simon Larochette and later mastered by James Plotkin, You Can’t Go Back captures SARIN‘s crushing post-metal at its dynamic best. The emotionally charged origins of the album’s lyrical themes lend themselves to the tonally dense and memorable song structures that build tension throughout, balancing crushing intensity with fleetingly gentle passages, that reveal the therapeutic nature of the record.

Australian death metal three-piece, WEREWOLVES have today released their second album, What A Time To Be Alive via Prosthetic Records. Accompanying the release day celebrations, the band have also unleashed a music video for Sublime Wartime Voyeurism. What A Time To Be Alive follows their 2020 release, The Dead Are Screaming, and steps boldly deeper into the mix of black and death metal and showcases WEREWOLVES at their most extreme.

Negative wizard metal pioneer, REBEL WIZARD has today released a live video performance of Real happiness in killing enjoyment, the first in a series of live videos filmed at The Wizard’s Crypt.
