. . . .

Chicago's VARAHA have once again teamed up with videographer, David Leep, to create a video to support the #SaveOurStages campaign - drawing attention to the way the live music industry has been effected during the pandemic. The track is Irreparable, taken from VARAHA's 2019 album, A Passage For Lost Years. The video is premiering via Brooklyn Vegan now. The creatives previously joined forces to create a haunting cinematic view of the city during the Covid-19 lockdown, titled Karantinas.

Of the video, VARAHA's Fabio Brienza commented:
“As performers, visiting and filming all the shuttered venues during the early months of the lock down was eerie and powerful. We are grateful we could volunteer our time and our music to support NIVA with their hard work fighting for our industry’s survival.”

Filmed during the early months of the lockdown, VARAHA and David Leep were granted exclusive access to a number of venues in the Chicago area to shoot the eerie video that depicts once thriving venues, now sitting empty and devoid of activity. Whilst live events are not possible due to the pandemic, the live music industry and those who work within it have attempted to raise awareness of their plight.
