New England via Bay Area doom band BODY VOID has today shared a new single, titled Human Greenhouse, from their upcoming fourth album Atrocity Machine. The trio’s new track is the third song to be from Atrocity Machine, which is set for release via Prosthetic Records on October 13. BODY VOID has also recently announced two tours to take place in October and November in the US and Canada – full details below.

DISGUISED MALIGNANCE are currently premiering their debut album, Entering the Gateways, in full via Decibel Magazine. Alongside the premiere, the band has also shared a full track-by-track breakdown of the album. Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, DISGUISED MALIGNANCE‘s first full-length sees the young group combine old and new school death metal influences, with themes of celestial terror. Entering the Gateways will be released via Prosthetic Records on September 29.

Swedish trio XORSIST has today shared a new single, titled Distorted Shapes. Distorted Shapes is the third and final pre-release track to be taken from the group’s forthcoming sophomore album, At the Somber Steps to Serenity, and showcases the band adding experimental production techniques to their Stockholm death metal sound. At the Somber Steps to Serenity is due for release via Prosthetic on October 6.

Chicago, IL trio BLIND EQUATION is today premiering their new album, DEATH AWAITS, in full via Metal Injection. Connecticut, US melodic death / doom metal group FIRES IN THE DISTANCE will be releasing an instrumental version of their acclaimed sophomore album, Air Not Meant For Us, via Prosthetic Records on October 6. Alongside the album announcement, the quartet has shared a guitar playthrough of album track Adrift Beneath the Listless Waves, featuring a guest appearance from Burial in the Sky’s James Tomedi.

Providence, RI based screamo ensemble, DREAMWELL, have today unveiled the second single to be taken from their upcoming sophomore album, In My Saddest Dreams, I Am Beside You – due for release on October 20. Blighttown Type Beat is streaming everywhere now, and has an accompanying video that can be viewed below. The album is available to pre-order now; it will be available digitally, as well as on vinyl and CD.

Ireland’s GAMA BOMB have today announced details of their upcoming eighth studio album, BATS; they have also unveiled the first single, Speed Funeral, and accompanying video. BATS will be released on November 10, 2023 via Prosthetic Records and will be available in three vinyl variants, on CD and digital. The video for Speed Funeral finds the band in the aftermath of the untimely demise of band mascot, Snowy The Gamabominable Snowman.

are today premiering a new music video for Hare in the Woods via Metal Injection. Hare in the Woods
is taken from the quartet’s recently released debut album, Depth Perception, which is available via Prosthetic Records.

The song sees BODY VOID pulling influence from the dystopian sci-fi film Robocop, and serves as a critique on police violence.

Helsinki, Finland’s DISGUISED MALIGNANCE has today shared their new single, “Unearthly Extinction.” The track serves as the third song to be taken from the death metal quintet’s forthcoming debut album, Entering The Gateways, which is due to be released on September 29th via Prosthetic Records.

Speaking on “Unearthly Extinction,” vocalist Felix Pennanen comments, “‘Unearthly Extinction’ is a ferocious, groovy, and subtly melodic track that captures the blend of different styles of death metal quite well.
