South Carolina grind quartet SLUGCRUST have today shared their new single, Drag Me to Agony, and shared an accompanying live music video for the song. Drag Me to Agony is the second track to be taken from their forthcoming debut album, Ecocide, set for release on September 9.

Prosthetic Records are thrilled to announce that GOD ALONE are the latest addition to the Los Angeles label’s roster. The Cork, Ireland based genre-bending mathrock and avant-garde group have today announced plans to release their second album, titled ETC, set to be released on October 21. Alongside the announcement, GOD ALONE have today shared the lead single Tsktsktsk and an accompanying music video.

Crawling out of Chicago, IL’s most decrepit corners and boneyards, MOLDER are today premiering their new album, Engrossed in Decay, via Metal Injection. Engrossed in Decay is the sophomore full-length from the death metal trio and first to be released via Prosthetic Records since inking a deal in 2021.

PHOBOPHILIC are today premiering their new single and music video Nauseating Despair via Decibel. Nauseating Despair is the second track to be taken from their forthcoming debut album, Enveloping Absurdity, set to be released via Prosthetic Records on September 16 and sees the death metal group continue to explore philosophical schools of absurdism and existentialism.

North Carolina’s FUNERAL CHIC are today premiering their new single Last Line Blues via Revolver. Last Line Blues is the third track to be taken from their forthcoming third album, Roman Candle, and offers another side to the FUNERAL CHIC recent sonic metamorphosis. Last Line Blues is a slow burning blues tinged, dirge replete with saxophone.

Louisville, KY’s VOLCANDRA have today shared a new music video for Resonance Cascade, taken from the melodic black metal groups recently released Border World EP. Pulling inspiration from the seminal first person shooter Half Life, the music video features a special guest appearance from Inferi guitarist Mike Low – who lent his playing to one of the track’s solos. VOLCANDRA are currently on tour in the US in support of Border World, with more information on upcoming shows below.

Chicago, IL’s most fetid, MOLDER have today shared the third and final pre-release single to be taken from their upcoming sophomore album, Engrossed in Decay, titled Relentless Pestilence. Alongside the release of the track, MOLDER have also shared an accompanying music video that features the band showcasing their bludgeoning chemistry in stark black and grey.

Prosthetic Records have today announced the signing of SLUGCRUST, a four-piece grind band featuring members of WVRM. Hailing from the vermin saturated remains of upstate South Carolina, SLUGCRUST will be releasing their debut album – titled Ecocide – on September 9. Alongside the signing and album announcement, the band have shared the lead single, Echoless, and it’s accompanying music video today.

Recent Prosthetic signees, VOLCANDRA have today released their new EP, titled Border World, via the Los Angeles heavy metal label. The Louisville, KY group’s latest release features four songs of highly ambitious sci-fi inspired melodic black metal, featuring a plethora of fantasy video game references within their songwriting and lyrics.
