Year of the Guillotine is the third track to be taken from the UK queercore duo’s forthcoming sophomore album, A Garden of Dead Flowers, which is due for release via Prosthetic Records on May 5. The video for Year of the Guillotine was produced entirely from analogue film by Abhorrent Disobedience, visually complimenting the track’s pointed stand against queer erasure.

DAWN OF OUROBOROS have today shared a new single, Testudines, to all streaming platforms with an accompanying visualizer. Testudines is the third track to be taken from the Oakland, CA blackened progressive metal group’s upcoming sophomore album, Velvet Incandescence, which is due out via Prosthetic Records on April 21.

BATTLE BORN are today premiering their new single and music video, Dragon Heart, via Distorted Sound. Dragon Heart is the Southampton, UK power metal group’s second single to be taken from their forthcoming debut album, Blood, Fire, Magic and Steel, which is due for release via Prosthetic Records on May 12. Dragon Heart’s video was produced by Quenvy Malavé, bringing the band’s Skyrim-inspired fantasy world to life as animated illustrations.

British / Irish death metal group DEATHCOLLECTOR have today announced their signing to Prosthetic Records. Alongside the news of their signing, the band (featuring members of Bolt Thrower, Memoriam, Ashen Crown, Zealot Cult and more) will be releasing their debut album, Death’s Toll, on June 23rd. The lead single, A Taste of Ichor, and accompanying lyric video is available to stream on all platforms and watch now.

The remixes delve further into THOTCRIME‘s electronic influences, namely breakbeat, following the release of their 2022 sophomore full-length.

Connecticut, US melodic death / doom metal band FIRES IN THE DISTANCE have today shared their new single and an accompanying visualizer, Idiopathic Despair. Idiopathic Despair is the third track to be taken from FIRES IN THE DISTANCE‘s upcoming second album, Air Not Meant For Us, and is one of the sophomore album’s more introspective tracks. Air Not Meant For Us due for release on April 28 via Prosthetic Records.

BLINDFOLDED AND LED TO THE WOODS are today premiering their new single and music video, Hallucinative Terror, via Knotfest. Hallucinative Terror is the second track to be taken from the Christchurch, New Zealand progressive death metal group’s upcoming fourth album, Rejecting Obliteration, due out on May 19 via Prosthetic Records. The song and video, directed by Matt Evlampieff, shines a spotlight on BLINDFOLDED AND LED TO THE WOODS’ native country’s mental health crisis.

London-based multinational black metal band CALLIGRAM have today announced their sophomore full-length, Position | Momentum, will be released on July 14 via Prosthetic Records. Alongside the album announcement, the quintet have also shared the lead single and accompanying video, Ex-Sistere.

FORETOKEN have today shared a new visualizer for His Riastrad in celebration of the release of their new album, Triumphs, which is out today via Prosthetic Records. His Riastrad‘s video was put together by Aimed&Framed and features art by Howard David Johnson, depicting the Celtic warrior demigod Cú Chulainn – one of many figures and tales that Triumphs explores in Western and Middle Eastern mythology and folklore.
