. . . .

Fraternal Parisian duo, WuW have today released a new music video for En Souvenir Des Jours Que nous N'Aurons Pas Vécus, taken from their latest album, Rétablir L'Eternité. Filmed by Mathieu Baillargeon (The Phantasma Company), the visual is a mesmeric meditation on ageing set to WuW's signature brand of experitmental post-metal. Rétablir L'Eternité is out now via Prosthetic Records, and is available here.

Commenting on the music video, the band comment: "We had another video project with Mathieu, the film maker, earlier in 2020 but the pandemic reduced our plans a little. So we tried to imagine a way to do something without any crew nor any actors. We gave him carte blanche and the video is his own vision of the track, En Souvenir Des Jours Que Nous N'Aurons Pas Vécus which means "In memory of the days that we will not have lived". A way of evoking the infinity of possibilities in a lifetime, those who left too early, our regrets, our future regrets but also - and most importantly - our moments of joy and pride."

WuW's latest album, Rétablir L’Eternité, is an invitation to slow down and immerse yourself in experimental, progressive instrumental missives. Composed and recorded between January 2018 and June 2019 in their own studio just outside Paris, brothers Benjamin and Guillaume Colin’s writing for Rétablir L’Eternité was more instinctive than ever. By allowing their unconscious to permeate their output, the music of WuW serves as a form of catharsis for its creators - letting the unknown be known.
