Coinciding with their US tour alongside Fotocrime, FOOL’S GHOST
have today released a cover of Nirvana’s Something In The Way. Comprised of both Nick Thieneman (Young Widows, Breather Resist) and Amber Thieneman (Liberation Prophecy, Sandpaper Dolls), FOOL’S GHOST place their signature sound of disquieting doom and dark folk on their rendition of one of Nirvana’s most revered songs.
Accompanying the single’s release on Bandcamp, the duo have also shared a music video for the track. Directed by Nick Thieneman himself, the footage is a tense and atmospheric visual shot in stark black and white.

Speaking on the release, Nick Thieneman comments: “Nirvana led me towards a lot of life changing/affirming music, which was all due to the explosion and accessibility of Nevermind. It was an absolute pleasure to record our take on Something in the Way as a sort of tribute to the recent 30th anniversary.”
FOOL’S GHOST are currently on tour alongside Fotocrime, marking some of their first shows since the release of their well received 2020 debut album Dark Woven Light, with plans for further recorded materials to be revealed in 2022.
