Melodic death/doom outfit FIRES IN THE DISTANCE have unveiled their long-awaited new album, Circadian Promise, available now via Prosthetic Records. To mark the occasion, the band has also premiered a lyric video for the album standout, “By This Time Tomorrow” featuring Johan Reinholdz of DARK TRANQUILITY.
Following a string of acclaimed singles that introduced listeners to the album’s emotional depth and sweeping scope, Circadian Promise arrives as the band’s most ambitious and affecting work todate. Balancing crushing heaviness with cinematic atmosphere and poignant introspection, the record expands upon the foundation established by 2022’s Air Not Meant For Us while pushing the band’s sound into even more immersive territory.
